ROMA
Capital of an ancient empire.........
Our
nightly
walks of
Rome

There is too much to be said about Rome, so I am going to keep it short.  All I can say is that the city is positively exhausted with breathtaking ruins and historical buildings, churches, fountains, and anything else you can imagine from stray cats to classy restaurants.  It is beautiful!

I spent four days here with my friend Tom from Germany (he was living in Bologna at the time), and we never tired of walking around and staring at everything. Every night our routine consisted of walking to some lit up ruin or building, each with a bottle of red wine, and drinking and talking in front of these monolithic pieces of history. We had no set plans, just wandered the streets and saw what we wanted to see, ate some of the best pizza, pasta, and gelato in our lives, drank awesome wine, and saw breathtaking sights.

I divided it up into the few categories where I took the most photos, so take your pick!!!
