This was some punk rock guy living on the streets in Nice, who we kept running
into. I was completely obsessed with his little puppy, because it was so tiny
and cute. I kept asking him if I could pet the puppy, but he kept saying no, joking that I could pet him but not the puppy. But persistance pays off, and we ran into him for the third or fourth time our last night in Nice, and sat down and talked to him awhile. He finally let me hold and pet the puppy, a tiny little Rottweiler that looked way too young to be away from his mother. |

| This was strange, too. This picture unfortunately came out blurry. Kate and I wanted to go to the Massena, a historical museum along the beach. When we got there, we found out it was closed for rennovations, and would not open up for two more years!! We must have looked so disappointed, the door man, who was a little strange himself, let us in just to prove to us how empty the place was. He actually took us into every room, and even up to the dark upstairs, to show us the elaborate, empty rooms and wide expanses of hardwood floors. He even asked if we wanted to see the third floor, which was dark as hell. We were like, "Uh, no thanks," and eventually left. It was cool we got to see the inside of the huge mansion, and got a private tour, though there was nothing really to see. This statue was one of the few things actually left in the museum, so we had the guy take a picture of us. | ||||||||||||
