They had remodeled part of it into a cafe for tired tourists!!

It's pretty sad that I remembered more about the tiny little house of prostitution (below) than I did about this huge bath complex.
Pompeii was a whorehouse,
and on the walls were remnants
of murals advertising services available to customers!!
interesting to see the little bedrooms they had...they were all not much larger than a closet, half of the tiny space consisting of
a "bed," which was actually a huge
concrete slab built into the room.
Supposedly they put straw mattresses
on top of them, but it still looked
pretty damn uncomfortable!!!
