Gaudí's ever- notable roof, where he was given free rein to let his imagination run wild!
The roof in that time was purely a servant's quarter, so Gaudí was permitted to be more creative and bizarre in his designs here.

He disguises chimneys and ventilators (also notable in his later work at Casa Milà) as a forest of mushroom-like spires; their tops covered in a mosaic rainbow of ceramic tiles.

I am sure the servants had a great time up here--I know I would have!
Me posing with a shroom.
Rainbow shrooms and what looks like a little Christmas tree....
A storm was brewing, adding a perfect ominous sky to my awe-inspired day.
