| This is the home that evolved over
two decades along with Gala and Dalí themselves. It was started when Dalí bought a small fishing hut along the coast of Port Lligat, a small fishing village near Cadaques, his family's long-time summer home on Costa Brava. Over the years, Dalí bought more and more adjacent fishing huts, designing the concept for his house, and hiring a builder to weave the huts together. This is what the house looks like today. |

| Dalí designed many windows in his house to frame scenes from outside like a painting: no doubt his inspiration for many of his landscape pictures. | |||||||||||||||
